McCarthy & Stone – Sanderstead

14th October 2019

Client: McCarthy & Stone
Project location: Sanderstead, Surrey
Accommodation: Retirement Living
Project duration: 6 months from design concepts & specification to installation
Project completion: October 2018

Atwood House is a brand-new high-end Retirement Living development in Sanderstead for the over 60s comprising 30 one and two bed luxury apartments.

David Phillips Social Living provided a full interior design and spatial planning service with mood boards and detailed CAD drawings and 3D renders of the furniture and layouts to present to the client. The design is a blend of contemporary and traditional with earthy colours and natural wood finishes – a design-led look pitched at more active and affluent residents that like to enjoy life.

The six-month project comprised full furniture provision and installation for the show apartments and communal spaces including the entrance foyer, club lounge with a shared kitchen and dining area, manager’s office, corridors and shared gardens.
